Review: This product comes in an 8″ and 12″ size and in blue and warm lighting. I opted for the larger/brighter version in the warm lighting for these reasons: For about 50% more cost I got 50% brighter lighting and 80% bigger battery. There are two circumstances where bigger/brighter are ALWAYS true (and otherwise regretted): lighting and storage. With the 12″ you get about 300 lumens and 2500 mAh battery vs 200 lumens and 1000 mAh battery. In the locations I placed the light bars (unlit closet and garage interior entry way) that adage couldn’t be more true. The warm light (think traditional incandescent) is, for me, so much more soothing on the eyes than marginally brighter-looking blue (think fluorescent white) light. I’m really glad this company offers the choice. Mounting takes minutes, and that’s including my OCD clorox wiping of all surfaces of the light bar and door frames to ensure a clean stick. The package comes with a pair of double-sided tape strips AND a second set in case you should move the light bars later in life. A USB-C charging cord is included (but no charging block). That’s ok because by now most people have too many of those plugin blocks. Bonus, my newer iPad came with a USB-C charging cord (and not the traditional “lightening” adapter). I was not happy about that but now, with these light bars, I have a second USB-C cord (and yes, the iPad’s cord and this are interchangeable, working to charge either device). I’ve only had them for two days, but so far, very happy.

Review: The connector type is not specified but the pictures show a microUSB connection. I was looking to replace one of my broken lights that had microUSB connections with this light based on the pictures but when I opened the package I found that they had USB-C sockets. This is fine I guess. I prefer USB-C but not when I am replacing microUSB connected lights.
